Getting Started with Moodle/Canvas


For Moodle:

For Canvas:

  • Create an Account: Sign up for a free teacher account on [link to Canvas signup page]. After signing in, click on "Start a New Course."

  • Set Up Your Course: Provide a course name, description, and start setting up the syllabus.

  • Add Content: Use the "Modules" feature to upload videos, quizzes, and assignments for your learners.

 Integrating LMS with Our Business Hub


Now that you have your LMS set up, here’s how to connect it with our Business Hub:

  1. Access the Business Hub: Log into the Business Hub portal [link to portal].

  2. Link Your LMS Account: Navigate to the "Integrations" section of the hub. Choose either Moodle or Canvas and follow the instructions to link your account.

  3. Create Collaborative Projects: Once linked, you can start creating collaborative projects within the hub that connect with the courses you’re teaching. You can invite other businesses to join your project, share learning materials, and develop training partnerships.

  4. Post Business Opportunities: Use the “Opportunities” feature in the hub to post new business leads. These will be visible to other corporates, enabling you to create connections.

Monitoring Progress and Opportunities

  • Track Learners' Progress: Both Moodle and Canvas offer analytics tools to track the progress of your employees or trainees. Use these insights to ensure that learning objectives are being met.

  • Explore New Opportunities: Use the Business Hub’s analytics to identify potential business partnerships, market trends, and new opportunities that align with your corporate goals.

  • Networking: Use the hub’s “Networking” tab to connect with other businesses in your field. Share your expertise, join group discussions, and collaborate on shared goals.

  • Offer and Request Training: If your business offers specific training courses, you can list these on the hub for other corporates to enroll in. Similarly, you can enroll in training offered by other companies to expand your team’s skills.

Industry-Specific Events: Allow businesses to create their own events within the Hub, targeting their niche or industry. This can increase engagement and collaboration opportunities.

Notifications & Updates Real-Time Notifications: Use a notification system to keep corporates informed about new business opportunities, potential partnerships, updates in training programs, and industry-related news. Business Insights: Offer personalized business insights to each corporate, based on their activity within the hub, to help them make informed decisions.
